I have looked at a range of different styles such as artists within my genre, artists from different/similar genres, style for people in general and not just music and even past iconic artists for comparison. It gives a good variety of what the generic modern day and individual look is for artists, often denim jackets or t-shirt and hoodie combinations with skinny jeans and then also how it has changed or stayed similar compared to past looks. I think although the modern day look can be different compared to past artists, there are things that have continued on such as all black clothing in bands and leather jackets which are shown in the picture of The Beatles and Michael Jackson. I think that when filming my own music video I will go for a mixture of the modern day look and the individual look as well.
